Fan Motor Will Not Start
Medium
Pressing the fan speed buttons produces normal LED indication and control beeps, but no air is moving through the hood. No exhaust venting during cooking.

LED Light Not Working
Low
Pressing the light button produces a normal control beep but no LED illumination occurs. The cooking surface remains unlit by the hood lighting.

Light Switch Fault
Low
The fan speed buttons work normally but pressing the light button produces no illumination change. The hood is otherwise functional.

NO-EXT
Poor Smoke Extraction
Medium
Steam and smoke from cooking are not being drawn up and away by the hood. Instead they spread into the room and set off smoke detectors or collect on cabinet surfaces.

SPEED-F
Fan Speed Control Fault
Low
Pressing Low, Medium, and High produces no change in fan speed. The fan runs at a single (usually low or high) speed continuously until turned off.

Excessive Vibration or Noise
Medium
An unusual grinding, scraping, or metal-on-metal sound comes from the fan area. The noise is much louder than normal operating sound and increases with fan speed.
