Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
AF Airflow Restricted High A load that normally dries in 45 minutes now takes 90 minutes or more. Clothes come out hot and damp rather than warm and dry. View DE Door Switch Error Medium The door is obviously closed but the dryer will not start. Pressing Start produces dE rather than beginning the cycle. View F1 Main Control Board Fault High Pressing Start produces F1 and no cycle begins. The display shows the fault code continuously. View F2 Keypad Stuck Medium Pressing buttons produces no action and the display shows F2 continuously. Cycle selection and start are both locked out. View F3 Moisture Sensor Fault Medium Auto Dry or Sensor Dry cycles shut off after just a few minutes rather than running to proper dryness. Clothes come out still wet. View F22 Outlet Thermistor Fail High The dryer stops mid-cycle with F22 showing. The drum stops rotating and the heating element shuts off. View F24 Inlet Thermistor Fail High The drum stops and the heater shuts off mid-cycle. F24 appears on the control panel and further operation is blocked. View F28 Moisture Sensor Fail Medium Selecting an Auto Dry cycle produces F28 within seconds of starting. Timed Dry cycles may continue to work normally because they do not depend on the moisture sensor. View F30 Restricted Outlet Airflow High Recent loads have been taking 90+ minutes where they used to complete in 45. Clothes come out hot but still damp because moist air cannot leave the drum fast enough. View F70 UI-ECB Communication Medium The panel displays F70 continuously and buttons produce no response. Cycle selection and start commands are locked out until the fault clears. View HE Heating Element Fault High The dryer runs normally — drum turns, airflow is present — but the air is room temperature rather than warm. Clothes tumble but do not dry. View L2 Low Line 2 Voltage High The dryer starts normally, the drum rotates, and airflow is present — but the air is not being heated. Clothes tumble dry without heat. View PF Power Failure Notification Low The control panel shows PF immediately after electricity returns, acknowledging a recent interruption during operation. View TE Thermistor Error Medium The drying cycle stops unexpectedly and TE appears on the control panel. Heating may have stopped before the cycle ended. View
