Clean the moisture sensor bars
Open the dryer door and locate the two thin metal strips on the front bulkhead (inside the drum opening). Wipe them with a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol to remove fabric softener residue. Dry and close the door.
Fabric softener sheet residue is the single biggest cause of moisture sensor issues. Cleaning the bars monthly prevents most F3 errors.

Use Timed Dry until service if F3 persists
Timed Dry cycles do not depend on the moisture sensor and work normally even with F3 active. Use them for normal laundry until the sensor issue is resolved — set time based on load size and fabric type.
Timed Dry is less energy efficient than Auto Dry because you cannot always predict exactly when clothes will be dry, but it is a perfectly safe and functional alternative.
