Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F06 Motor Control Communication High The washer starts a cycle normally but the drum never begins to rotate. Water may fill and drain correctly, but no agitation or spin occurs. View F1 Main Control Board Fault High A wash program in progress halts unexpectedly and F1 appears on the control display. The drum stops, water may be standing in the tub, and no further commands respond. View F2 Keypad Stuck Medium Pressing any button produces no action and the display shows F2 continuously. The washer cannot be controlled from the panel until the fault clears. View F5 Lid Switch or Door Lock Fault High A wash cycle halts and F5 appears on the control panel. The lid may be visibly closed but the board is reporting an open condition. View F7 Motor Drive Fault High A wash cycle starts normally but the drum does not rotate. Water may still fill and drain, but no agitation or spin occurs. View F8 Water Level Sensor Fault Medium Before the fault latches, the washer may have filled with too much or too little water for the selected cycle. Water level is obviously wrong for the load size. View F9 Drain Pump Fault High A wash cycle ends (or halts) with water still standing in the tub. The pump was unable to drain the water within the maximum time allowed. View F11 Motor Control Board Comm High The washer halts with F11 on the display. The drum may have been in mid-rotation when the fault occurred, so clothes are in various positions inside. View F21 Long Drain Time Medium A cycle has stopped mid-way or at the drain phase with water still in the drum. The control panel shows F21 and the drum will not spin. View F24 Water Temperature Sensor Medium Cycles stop at the point where the board attempts to heat water or verify inlet temperature. The panel shows F24 and further action is blocked. View LD Long Drain / Motor Overload Medium The drum is attempting to rotate but is meeting resistance — either because laundry is tangled or because a drain restriction is preventing water from leaving the tub. View LF Long Fill Time Medium Water enters the tub noticeably slower than normal, or not at all. The washer times out and shows LF rather than proceeding to the wash phase. View SUD Too Many Suds Detected Low The displayed cycle time increases rather than decreases as the washer runs extra rinse and drain cycles to clear suds from the tub. View
