What's Included
- Same-day or next-day emergency dispatch
- Refrigerator and freezer failure response
- Gas appliance safety assessment

- Food-safety priority response for cooling failures
Some KitchenAid appliance failures cannot wait for a scheduled repair visit. A refrigerator failing on a summer afternoon risks hundreds of dollars of spoiled food. A range that will not ignite during holiday dinner prep is a kitchen disaster. A dishwasher flooding the floor can damage flooring and cabinetry within hours. Our emergency repair service responds same-day to these urgent situations.
When to Request Emergency Service
- Refrigerator not cooling: Temperature rising above 40°F with food at risk
- Freezer failure: Temperature rising, frozen food thawing
- Gas appliance safety: Gas odor, failed ignition, flame issues on any KitchenAid gas range or cooktop
- Water leakage: Active water leak from dishwasher, refrigerator ice maker, or supply line
- Burning smell: Any burning or electrical smell from an appliance during operation
- Oven self-clean lock: Door locked mid-cycle with the appliance needed urgently
- Smoke or arcing: Visible smoke or electrical arcing from any appliance
Same-Day Response Priorities
We prioritize emergency calls based on severity. Gas leak calls receive immediate response — shut off your gas supply at the main valve and ventilate the area before our technician arrives. Refrigerator and freezer failures are next priority, since food safety degrades rapidly. Water leaks are high priority for the same reason — flooding damage compounds by the hour.
What to Do While Waiting for Service
For a failing refrigerator: Minimize door openings. Transfer critical items to a cooler with ice. Use an independent thermometer to check current temperature. A full refrigerator holds safe temperature for 4 hours; a full freezer for 24–48 hours.
For a gas appliance concern: Turn off the appliance and the gas supply valve. Open windows. Do not use any electrical switches. Leave the area if the gas odor is strong.
For a water leak: Shut off the water supply to the appliance at the nearest valve. Use towels to contain water spread. Photograph any damage for insurance.
For a burning smell: Unplug the appliance if safe to do so, or switch off its breaker. Do not continue to use it.
Our Emergency Response Process
When you call for emergency service, our dispatcher gathers essential information — appliance type, symptoms, and any error codes — and confirms the technician can reach you within the same-day window. Emergency technicians carry a comprehensive inventory of common KitchenAid replacement parts so most calls can be resolved in a single visit.
Transparent Pricing
Emergency service includes a same-day dispatch fee in addition to standard repair charges. The final cost will be confirmed after our technician completes an on-site diagnosis. We provide a clear, written estimate before any work begins — no hidden fees, no surprises, even during emergencies.
